Boundary value analysis finds the off-by-one bugs that random testing misses. Apply it to a discount code that accepts a quantity range.

Worked example

For an age field accepting 18 to 60, the boundary set is 17, 18, 60 and 61.

A discount applies to quantities from 5 to 50 inclusive. Select the boundary values to test.
