How QA skill assessments work

  1. Pick a skill you have listed, or want to list, on your profile.
  2. Answer a short set of questions based on everyday testing work. You can leave and resume an attempt that is in progress.
  3. Get your result. Your score is checked on our servers, and a strong result changes the skill on your QA Skill Passport from self-declared to Assessed.
  4. Retake later if you want a better score. Each assessment shows when a retake unlocks.

Why an assessed level helps

Anyone can type a skill on a profile. An assessed level shows that you answered practical questions about it, which gives recruiters and other testers a clearer picture of what you can do. Only your best result is shown, and you choose what appears on your public profile.
