About this Playwright course
This Playwright course teaches end-to-end test automation with TypeScript, from your first test to a framework you can show in interviews. It has 16 sections and 254 lessons, about 57 hours of study, with a hands-on lab and a graded assessment in every section.
You learn the way Playwright is used on real teams: stable locators, web-first assertions, fixtures, the Page Object Model, login reuse with storage state, API testing with the request context, traces and debugging, and running tests in CI. Every topic ends with something you build and check yourself, not just a video to watch.
Who this course is for
- Manual testers moving into automation
- Selenium or Cypress users switching to Playwright
- Freshers preparing for automation tester or SDET interviews
- Developers who want reliable UI tests for their own apps
What you need
- Basic computer skills; no prior automation needed
- Some JavaScript helps, but the course covers the TypeScript you need
- A laptop that can run Node.js and VS Code
What you will be able to do
- Write stable Playwright tests with role-based locators and auto-waiting assertions
- Structure a suite with fixtures, page objects and test data
- Test APIs and mix API setup with UI checks
- Debug failures with the trace viewer, screenshots and videos
- Run tests in parallel and in GitHub Actions
- Explain your framework choices clearly in interviews
