Postman collection passes locally, fails in Newman on CI

Same collection, same environment file. Locally green. In GitLab CI Newman fails on a chained request that reads an id from the previous response. Feels like variable scoping or timing. Anyone seen this?

Check if Newman is using the same environment file iteration mode - --env-var vs --environment behave differently, and CI variables sometimes shadow collection variables.
