Playwright: when should I run headed instead of headless?
CI is headless by default. Locally I keep flipping. Is there a rule for when headed matters?

Accepted solution
Rule I use: headed only to reproduce a flake you cannot explain from the trace viewer, or when debugging animations/timing. Everything else — CI, local reruns, watch mode — headless. Playwright's trace + video on failure removes 95% of the reasons people used to run headed.
